We absolutely adore Celia + Alexis! As soon as we met these lovely ladies we knew we would be fast friends! We’ve spent many board game nights together and dinners and when their wedding day finally approached, we were so excited to celebrate them. We knew their wedding day would be full of love, laughter, and celebration!
There was just a buzz of energy as everyone was getting ready. We planned so both ladies could utilize the gorgeous suite at The Oaks at Salem to get dressed before they shared a first look together. Also shout out to Celia’s mom who wore the coolest pantsuit! Celia + Alexis’s first look was so sweet and these ladies knew they wanted to spend as much time as possible on their wedding day together, so we immediately followed with some couples portraits on the front porch as the rain was coming down.
Although it rained during the ceremony, their colorful florals and cozy tent created a far more intimate atmosphere – plus Celia’s dad was their officiant! The adorable couple were surrounded by the best, most welcoming people and there were smiles everywhere. We had so many wonderful conversations with everyone and really enjoyed feeling like we were also part of their inner circle.
Once their vows were over, the sun popped out so we could take the rest of their portraits outside in the beautiful light! And as soon as it was time to head inside for dinner and dancing, we knew the party was just getting started. Everyone was out on the dance floor celebrating these lovely ladies and Celia + Alexis were inseparable.
