Hey there and welcome to our spruced-up site! We’ve been super excited about our brand new look and are so excited to finally share it with you!
I’m sure you’re wondering though – why the new look?! Well we took a long, hard look at our website and realized something: it was not us. There was nothing distinguishing about our old branding because honestly I didn’t have a vision for the business when we started 4 years ago. I knew I loved taking photos and that I was on the lighter side of photos, but I had no idea who I was speaking to. As we’ve grown, we’ve also evolved. Now, we have a clearer idea of what message we believe in and want to say.
Inclusivity
First and foremost, we believe in inclusivity and diversity. We work with so many couples and each is unique so we want to show that. More importantly though, we want couples to know they are welcome here regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or body size. This is a core value of our business and we really hope it shines through with our new branding.
Fun
We get it, getting professional photos taken can feel stiff and induce some serious anxiety. Even just trying to get headshots done for myself is a nerve-wracking experience. Our first goal when working with out couples is to have fun and show them as they naturally are. Our favorite photos are the belly laughs and those glances that show how much you and your partner enjoy hanging out with each other. We chose colors that exude fun, warmth, and excitement just like our images do!
Authenticity
Our couples are each unique, so why should their images all look the same? We want to show you in your element, whether that be walking through the woods, hiking a mountain, or smelling the flowers in a local garden. Your photos should reflect who you and your partner are in all of your silly, quirky, adorable ways. If you’re a super outgoing and playful couple, let’s show off those piggy back rides! If you’re more subtle and love to relax then let’s plan on maybe a coffee shop or a quiet garden with a blanket and some fluffy awesome pillows. And if you’re dog people (like we are) then let’s bring your little babies and see how many times they look everywhere but the camera!
Honestly, we’re in LOVE with our new look and we believe it suits us perfectly. It’s unique, fun, energetic, and most of all welcoming to everyone!
