I don’t even know where to begin with these two. Simply put, their modern, black and white wedding at The Oaks at Salem was absolute perfection!
Laurel and Travis love each other so effortlessly. There was so much happy energy while everyone was getting ready and there was an overall theme throughout the day: family. The way the couple’s families just loved on each other and celebrated them was an absolute treasure to witness. Laurel’s sisters and sister-in-law made up her wedding party and she made sure to have a first look with them. But then something even sweeter happened – Laurel did a first look with all of her nephews! There were so many happy tears and everyone was just itching for the ceremony to begin!
All morning Travis was bouncing around just waiting until he could finally see Laurel as she walked down the aisle towards him. And his reaction was EVERYTHING! He got so emotional and the joy on his face was so indicative of their love. Throughout the rest of the day, it was apparent just how happy these two make each other. You could see it in their soft touches, the beaming glances, and every time Travis didn’t hesitate to help Laurel with her dress. Their portraits are some of my absolute favorite and I barely had to instruct them – they are just so effortless with each other! With all that love throughout the day followed an amazing dance party! Everyone was out on the dance floor breaking it down and having a fabulous time.
Seriously, this wedding was such a joy to document. Their families were so warm and welcoming, and getting to witness such a tight knit support system was an honor.
