Alyssa + Jacob had their engagement session at North Carolina State University. They chose NCSU because it’s where they met so it holds a special place in their hearts. They later realized they had chemistry class together that first semester and started hanging out a lot with some pseudo-dates doing all of the things from dinners, to going on long walks, and even some hockey games. After nearly 5 years together Jacob finally proposed while they were visiting the zoo!
My favorite part of their engagement session was hearing all about their fun dates and walking down memory lane with them. They giggled the entire time and Alyssa even Rickrolled Jacob at one point and had us all laughing! Despite the heat, these two really embraced their time together and made their session so unique and fun!
Advice For Couples Planning E-Session
“Pick out an outfit for the weather you want, but be prepared to dress for the weather you actually get the day of.”
Their advice is spot on! The weather can vary drastically here in NC and even though there session was in the middle of September it was over 90 degrees out! We were all a little overheated and tried to chase as much shade as we could find. It helps to have outfits pre-planned, but if the weather just isn’t friendly to your clothing choice it’s best to find something you’re going to be comfortable in.
