Samantha and Brian love hiking and it was an easy choice to pick the Eno River State Park for their fall engagement session! We seriously lucked out with warm weather, radiant light, and some gorgeous fall colors – seriously the leaves were showing off for these two!
Samantha and Brian have been together for more than 5 years, but have known each other a bit longer. They worked together at Lowe’s Home Improvement, but for different reasons. Brian was retired military and wanted something to keep him occupied during the day while Samantha was just getting some extra fun money on the side while working as a registered nurse. After working together and feeling like there was something there, they quit those jobs and pursued a relationship together… and here they are today!
What started out with a first date at a dinner and a movie eventually turned into a proposal at Whitewater Falls while on a vacation together. These two sweet humans love to play games, spend time hiking and camping in the great outdoors, and snuggle up watching a movie together. They also love to try new food which we got to do with them after their session at Burger Bach in downtown Durham!
What stands out to me the most about these two though is just how sweet they are with one another. Brian likes to joke and poke fun at Samantha at times, but whenever she turns around he praises how wonderful she is and how lucky he is to be with her. They just look at each other with the sweetest glint in their eyes and it’s obvious how much they adore each other!
