We met up with Sophia and John at the Eno River State Park for their engagement session a warm sunny afternoon. Okay, when I say warm I mean HOT! These two were such troopers working through the heat though and really had a blast!

These two met at UNC and Sophie convinced John that he owed her a burrito which turned into their first date – how cute?! I think we can all agree that any date with burritos involved is set up to be a successful one! They bonded over binging TV shows, hanging out at breweries, and hiking to new places with yummy food following right behind. After nearly 5 years together John took Sophie to visit llamas, on of her favorite animals, at Divine Llama Vineyards and he proposed while they were surrounded by llamas and then they celebrate with some delicious wine after she said yes!

These two had so much fun hanging out for their engagement session at the Eno River State Park and were just such goofballs together. John agreed to so many lifts during the session and did a great job…. until he dropped Sophie right into the water. They just laughed it off though and honestly were ok with cooling off in the water after such a hot afternoon.
